Jason Isbell Friday, September 14 in Jackson, MS

Absolutely sounded great. Crowd was pretty slim but into it nonetheless. Most of the songs on Sirens in the Ditch sounded better than the album. For instance, Grown does not have quite the cheesiness it does on the album, same with "Brand New Kind of Actress" and "Chicago Promenade." DBT tunes sounded perfect as always. I can't wait to see him again this weekend in Oxford. Forgot my camera of course. Very nice Cover of Van Morrison's "Into the Mystic"
