First heard of the Welsh collective Los Campesinos! from the Arts & Crafts sample I picked up from the Jason Collett show week before last, and I have been playing their two tracks and a few of their free downloads a lot lately. Fast paced music, with lots of blips, glockenspiel dings, and hand claps. Reminds me a little of I’m From Barcelona at times, but without as much of the bubble-gum pop sounds that some of those Swedish bands tend to have. “You! Me! Dancing!” off their debut EP has a touch of Essex Green or the Little Ones. These guys have yet to release a full album, but should have one out in early 2008. If the cuts from their EP are any indication, I’ll likely buy it on release day.Los Campesinos! - You! Me! Dancing!
