Hudson Bell actually went to Ole Miss and has been receiving national recognition. His music really is amazing. He sounds like a mix between Modest Mouse, Built to Spill, and Pavement. The music is incredibly textures with plenty of "fuzz" as critics have said. There is a great interview with him here. He gives a shout out to Oxford, MS. The seven song CD is addicting.
